I have lived in Crestone with my wife, Zita Xavier,
for five and a half years. I was attracted to joining this venture
with our next door neighbor, Ralph Abrams, because supporting the
vibrancy of Crestone makes sense. I love the idea of helping create
a downtown neighborhood where individuals and families can live
together in a safe environment, converse from their porches, and
walk to shopping while still having the privacy of their own home.
As a business man, I found that the project also makes business
sense. Creating relationships has always been the basis of my business
career. The project has to feel good and the people, partners must
be willing to ask for what they need and listen to other peoples’
needs. In Cottage Neighborhoods all these possibilities exist.
I have been involved in numerous commercial and
residential building projects for more than twenty five years, and
I am particularly excited about this one. It’s wonderful creating
a neighborhood with our good neighbor, Ralph, who is skilled, passionate,
and professional.

I have been in the construction industry for twenty
years in Michigan and Colorado. I bring a fine sense of quality
control and value to the project, balancing critical cost controls
with fine aesthetics and sensible building choices. I use a value-added
approach to the Cottage Neighborhood project to enhance the property
value of each building now and in the future.
Our homes combine a beautiful simplicity with an
attention to detail that creates a refined and inviting home to
live in and be proud of. These homes complement existing town structures.
The gable roof design and front porches are reminiscent of earlier
times when mingling with other folks in town – rather than
being isolated inside – was the norm.
A short walk to essential services makes leaving
the car parked in the back alley an easy thing to do. What a relief
to get out and walk, enjoy the fresh air and mountain views and
not worry about polluting the environment just to pick up your mail
or enjoy a cup of coffee downtown.
